Today, we recall September 11th of 2001 and the attacks on the World Trade Center. However, back ini April, the deaths from coronavirus in New York City alone surpassed the number of people killed on 9/11/01. As of today, the city’s death toll is nearly ten times the number killed on 9/11/01. As our multiple world crises continue to unfold, we need to grieve all those lost, and pursue bold, powerful solutions like the Green New Deal to avert and minimize future tragedies. And of course, we need to oust Donald Tr*mp in November.
