We're glad to see so many people taking to the streets to demand #justice. Looking to join the #protests? SWIPE for some tips on how to protest as a non-Black person. First and foremost: this protest isn't about you! Always uplift Black voices and follow their lead. Never escalate with the police, and be prepared to use your privilege to protect Black lives. If you go, be prepared for pepper spray, tear gas, arrest, and injury. Don't take part in destruction of property, even if you see others doing it. If you're taking video, be sure to blur out faces, as police may use social media to arrest "persons of interest" later. Not sure if the protest is for you? Donate to a bail fund.
